Overview

This is a place to manage orders for things that are already made. Or the actual doing of small jobs or larger projects.

If this kind of thing is managed by a third-party service like Shopify, then you might not have much to put here. Just point to the location in your JDex.

The same goes for if you offer a service and you get jobs by customers booking appointments. That probably all lives in software or apps, so point to that.

But if you’re a freelancer or consultant like Xe, or any other kind of ‘creator’, you might choose to do your actual work here. If not, consider 33. It depends what feels right for your situation.

Either way, we’d recommend having a simple database for basic job details here. Then you can easily find and reuse calculations and quotes from old jobs and tenders. And of course, link to this in your JDex.

Create IDs based on what you need

The first ID is a list of all orders and jobs. It’s a handy index that sits at the top of the category.

You create the others depending on what you need, starting at 34.11.
